Animalkind Demo now available on Steam!
We're pleased to announce that a demo for Animalkind is now available on Steam! Thank you to the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted 2026 for working with us on this announcement! 🐾
With thousands of players participating in our closed playtests and giving us very positive feedback, we wanted to take the next step and make the game available broadly on Steam. There may be another playtest in the future to make sure our multiplayer features hold up, but we will talk more about that later.
Here are some highlights of the demo:
- A redesigned home island: an entirely new island to explore with its own secrets and new features!
- Zoomies: sometimes our animals need to get out and explore! Our friendly critters can’t help but race around the island at striking speed while automatically scooping up all items from the ground!
- New decorations: more customizable options to decorate the island and town, making it really feel like your own!
… and more. There is a good amount of demo here folks!
We're also announcing that Animalkind is going into Steam Early Access in Spring 2026. There is more to come on that soon enough! But for now... we hope you enjoy our brand new demo! 🐶😺🦝
